Privacy at a glance
- Your recordings, scripts and audio files are processed only on your device and are never uploaded.
- AudioCut has no accounts, no analytics, no crash reporting and no servers.
- The only internet use is Google AdMob rewarded ads, which you choose to watch to unlock tools.
- Recording happens only while you are recording on screen.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Fayakun Developers (“we”, “us”) handles information in the AudioCut Android app (the “App”). AudioCut (package com.audiocut.app) is an on-device teleprompter, voice recorder and AI voice cleaner. By using the App you agree to this policy.
This policy covers AudioCut only. Our other apps have their own policies in our Legal Center.
2. Information we collect
We do not collect personal information and we have no server. The App has no sign-up, analytics or crash reporting.
Data stored only on your device
- Recorded takes (48 kHz WAV) and merged sessions, in the App’s private storage;
- Processing files created while cleaning and editing, in private storage;
- Unlock times for tools you unlocked with a rewarded ad;
- Exports you save, in your phone’s
Downloads/AudioCutfolder.
Your teleprompter script is kept in memory while the App is open and is not saved to storage.
3. Microphone and audio
AudioCut uses the microphone only while you are recording a take on screen. There is no background recording. All processing (silence trimming, crossfades, loudness levelling, AI noise suppression with DeepFilterNet3, voice gate, presets, volume, fades and MP3 encoding) runs on your device. Audio files you import are read from where you picked them and are never uploaded.

Photo and video permissions are explicitly removed from the App.
5. Advertising
AudioCut is free and supported by ads served by Google AdMob.
- Personalization: you can limit ad personalization at any time from your device settings (see below).
- Rewarded ads: Some tools (Cleanup, Cinematic, Presets, Volume, Fade, Find Beats, Auto-Cut, script editing) unlock for 2 hours after you fully watch a rewarded ad. MP3 export needs one rewarded ad per export. WAV export is always free. Ads are shown only when you choose to watch one, and are rated for teens (T) or below.
- Opt out of personalized ads: on Android open Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads) and delete or reset your Advertising ID.
- Ad SDKs may add system permissions such as
AD_ID,ACCESS_ADSERVICES_*,WAKE_LOCKand a WorkManager background service. These are used only by the ad SDKs.

AdMob is the only component in AudioCut that connects to the internet.

Data sent by the ads SDK is encrypted in transit.
8. Data sharing, retention and deletion
We do not sell or share data. Recordings and exports stay on your device until you delete them. To remove everything, clear the App’s data or uninstall it (exports in Downloads/AudioCut stay until you delete them). See our Data Deletion page.
9. Children’s privacy
AudioCut is not directed at children under 13. Ads are limited to a teen (T) content rating. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK, the CCPA/CPRA in California, or other local laws), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict processing (including personalized advertising), withdraw consent, and complain to your local data protection authority.
Because we have no accounts and no servers that hold your content, almost all data stays on your device, where you control it. Contact us and we will help with any request we can fulfil.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the updated policy.
